The Public is hereby notified of a meeting regarding the Woodbine Board of Adjustment to be held Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, 5:00pm at the City Conference Room, 517 Walker Street. The Board will discuss and hear comments about requested variances from the City of Woodbine Building Code from respective property owners for the following properties: 207 Normal St., for a requested variance that would allow construction of a garage which would exceed the 25% building area of their lot. Also, the Board will discuss and hear comments about requested variances from the City of Woodbine Building Code from respective property owners for the following properties: 1202 Normal St., for a requested variance that would allow construction of a garage which exceeds the 960 square feet garage limit. Any Citizen of Woodbine or any other person having an interest in the requested variance may appear and be heard for or against the proposal. Written comments must be received at the City Clerkâs office, 517 Walker St, Woodbine, IA 51579 before the meeting.
