Shirley Christoff (Stehlik), 92, of Woodbine, passed from this earth on Aug. 28, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Adela (McElroy) Stehlik; brother, William Stehlik Jr; her husband, Boris Christoff; and son, Phillip Christoff. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Safranek and Jane Romack; her children, Connie, Alex, and Cathy Christoff; and grandsons, Mitchell Kaminski and Daniel Kaminski.
A memorial service was held for Shirley on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Woodbine. Pastor Nikki Ahart presided over the service. The musicians for the service included Rita Bantam and Daniel Kaminski. The musical selections were, “Amazing Grace”, “Hymn of Promise”, “How Great Thou Art”, and “On Eagles Wings”. A committal service was held for Shirley on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at the Wilber Czech Cemetery in Wilber, Neb.
