Richard L. “Dick” Reeh, age 90, of Missouri Valley, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2026. Dick was born May 4, 1935; the son of George W. and Zelda (Miller) Reeh.

Dick served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean conflict. Dick and Lois (Skinner) were united in marriage on July 9, 1955. They had one child, George, born in 1957.

Dick worked at Iowa Power and Light as a truck driver, equipment operator and power plant mechanic. Dick was a previous member of the Missouri Valley Fire Department. He was also in the Valley Lodge #232, and he is a member of the United Methodist Church.

Dick was a true motorhead, racing stock cars in the late 1950’s and drag racing cars in the 1960’s. He raced at several tracks in the Midwest and California. When his son George started racing, Dick served as his crew chief and maintained his race cars.

Gramps spent a lot of cherished time with his grandchildren, Dustin and Deidre. Dick enjoyed rebuilding small gas engines and showing them at many shows with his wife, Lois. He also liked going to auctions and watching NASCAR races.

In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his sister, Arlene Peterson.

Dick is survived by his wife Lois; son George (Teresa); grandson Dustin Reeh (Kathy); granddaughter Deidre (Nathan) Dyson; great-granddaughter Ember Dyson; sister, Imogene Clements and many other family member and friends.

Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at United Methodist Church in Missouri Valley.
