Nancy (Van Cleave) Wagner formally of Fort Calhoun, Neb., passed away in Papillion, Neb. on Thursday March 26, 2026.
Nancy Marie (Van Cleave) Wagner was born in Missouri Valley, on Jan. 19, 1948, the sixth child, fifth daughter to John and Lilly (Bonham) Van Cleave.
Nancy has now been reunited in Heaven with her husband Alan; her parents John and Lillie Van Cleave; one brother Kenneth Van Cleave; three sisters Shirley Fernandez, Elaine Schuelke, and Marlyn Ford; dogs, Molly and Rosie; and grand-dogs, MooMoo, Snoopy-George, and Snickerz.
Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Missouri Valley High School, in Missouri Valley. Nancy was employed with Wilkinson Manufacturing, in Fort Calhoun Neb., for 35 years.
Nancy is remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law Valerie and Scott Gautier of Omaha, Neb., Angie and Gary Sazama of Missouri Valley; two grandsons Jake and Andy Sazama; four grand-dogs Bella, Jax, Sallie Jane and Lucky; one sister Judy Meade of Council Bluffs; two sisters-in-law Nora Van Cleave of Omaha, Neb. and Carol “Jeanie” Adams of Blair, Neb.; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Nancy was laid to rest next to her husband Alan in Calhoun Cemetery just north of Missouri Valley.
Services were conducted on March 31, 2026, at Hennessey Funeral Home.
