Mary Cross, who was born on March 12, 1945, outside of Woodbine, passed away at the age of 79 on July 14, 2024, at her home in West Des Moines. Services were held at the Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines on July 17, 2024. She was laid to rest at the Soldier Valley Cemetery outside of Pisgah.
