Donald Gene Marks Jr., age 60, passed away on May 25, 2026. Donald was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and cherished friend whose kindness and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Born on July 31, 1965, Donald was the son of Donald Gene Marks Sr. and Valerie Marks. He carried strong family values throughout his life and was known for always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Donald deeply loved his wife, Zimmie Marks, and treasured the life they built together. He was a proud father to Sabrina Marks and Donny Marks, and a caring stepfather to Steven Robinson, Amber Phillips, Cory Harrig, and Amanda Harrig, as well as considering Misty Shaw (John) as one of his own. His family was the center of his world, and he enjoyed spending time with them on the farm, making memories that will be cherished forever.
He had a passion for motorcycles, farm life, and helping others. Whether working on the farm, riding the open road, or spending time with friends and loved ones, Donald lived life with a caring heart and a strong sense of loyalty to those around him.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Zimmie; his children, Sabrina and Donny; his stepchildren, Steven, Amber, Cory and Amanda; his grandchildren, Alicia, Brayden, Carter, Tristan, Larkin, Brady, Madilyn, Daxton, Raelyn, Levi, and Nash; his sister, Wendy Loehr (Kevin); his brother, John Marks (Cherry); Stepsister, Lisa McKain; his beloved nieces and nephews, Toka, Tessa, Chris, Jake, Valerie, Nicole, Jauna, Kara, Misty (John), Ashlee (Gael) and Tiffany (Dalton); along with many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Gene Marks Sr. and Valerie Marks; his sister, Dawn Nelson (Larry); and his nephew, Anthony Portelli.
Donald will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love of family and friends, and the warmth he brought into the lives of others. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Services were conducted May 30, 2026, at Hennessey Funeral Home.
