Kenneth E. Lewis, 95 years, passed away Sept. 13, 2024. He was born Aug. 29, 1929, to the late John and Eva Lewis. Ken graduated from Missouri Valley Iowa High School in 1947. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War while stationed in Germany. Ken worked for Iowa Power and Light Company with 34 years of service, retiring in 1985.
Ken is preceded in death along with parents; wife, Diane; sisters, Viola Mahoney, Margaret Scott, Norma Buffum, Jane Ann Christiansen; brother, Larry Lewis. He is survived by brothers, John “Buzz” Lewis, Denny Lewis; daughter, Anne Lewis (Kathy Thompson); son, Keith (Darinda) Lewis; stepdaughter, Shari (Mel) Mullennax; stepson, Mark Schmahl; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
