Betty L. Danker

Betty Lou Danker was born in Loveland in 1940 to her parents Henry and Jessie Schroder, and was the youngest of nine siblings. Betty graduated and received her diploma from Missouri Valley High School.

Betty had a colorful career with roles at local grocers and clothing stores along with various roles outside of work including teaching Sunday School and coaching softball. Betty was the mother of her three children, Scott Wohlers, Rita (Wohlers) Martens, and Mark Wohlers, and is preceded in death by Scott and Mark.

Her favorite role of all was being the mother of her children, grandmother to Chris (Tom) Joens, Anne Wohlers (Kevin Taylor), Abigail Martens (Tanner Aiken), Eliza Martens, and Payten Pederson, and great-grandmother to Logan and Grady Joens.

Betty is also preceded in death by her husband Richard Danker. Betty and Richard enjoyed a wonderful life together and created many happy memories involving family, friends, travels and more that will continue to live on past their lifetimes. Betty will be fondly thought of and greatly missed.

Graveside Service will be at 1pm on Oct. 5, 2024, at Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek. The family will direct memorials.
