The Missouri Valley High School Class of 1964 held its class alumni reunion on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.
Friday evenings informal get together was held at the home of Connie Campbell with 15 attending. Those in attendance were special guests Van Phillips of South Sioux City and Mr. and Mrs. Arland Freiberg of Sergeant Bluff,. Classmates and spouses were Joanne (Johnson) Fisher, Harvey Ferris, Jr. and wife, Judy, Doug Dewaele and wife,Virginia, all of Missouri Valley, Brian Hansen and wife, Donna, of Honey Creek, Cheri (Epperson) Martens and spouse, Bob Martens, of Council Bluffs, Judy (Kilstrom) Gorham and Gene Gorham of Frederick, Col., and Georgia (Reed) Metzger of Mission, Texas. A good evening was enjoyed by all.
Saturdays noon luncheon was held at the Missouri Valley Church of Christ Center catered by Kitchen Sisters of Persia. Grace was given by Leonard Johnson of the Class of 1959, whose class graciously shared the Center and caterer with the Class of 1964.
In attendance were Harvey Ferris, Jr, Bruce Roberts and wife, Shirley, Sandy (Petersen) Collier and spouse Buck, Doug Dewaele and wife, Virginia, Stan Salter, Richard Collier, Joanne (Johnson) Fisher and Connie (Purcell) Campbell, all of Missouri Valley, Brian Hansen of Honey Creek, Glen Long and wife, Phyllis, of Tekamah,, Neb., Judy (Kilstrom) Gorham and Gene Gorham of Frederick, Col., and Georgia (Reed) Metzger of Mission, Texas. Special guest was Van Phillips of South Sioux City.
