CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mondamin City Hall Wednesday, February 18, 2025 6:30 P.M. 1. Opening of Meeting a. Mayor Richard Proskocil called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m., leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. b. Roll Call Council members present: Mary Seago, Karen Breyfogle, John Glennie, and Lacie Rife. Council absent: Jim Rains. Staff present: Alyx Hirst. Public present: None. c. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve the agenda by M. Seago, with a second by K. Breyfogle. Motion carried 4-0. 2. Public Comments None 3. New Business a. Temp Sub for City Clerk Clerk Hirst stated that she may not be available during some of her office hours due to personal reasons and asked that she be allowed to find a temporary sub while she is unavailable. Council said they were not opposed to it, but wanted any potential candidates to have a background check done before proceeding. 4. Other Business a. Budget Work Session Clerk Hirst discussed profit & loss reports for all departments as well as fund balances. Council went over a list of repairs needed throughout the city. Thoughts and ideas on departmental budgets, street repairs, wages, property maintenance of city buildings, various contracts, and revenue-generating opportunities were shared. 5. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, M. Seago made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and it was seconded by K. Breyfogle. Motion carried 4-0.
