CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mondamin City Hall Monday, April 6, 2026 6:30 P.M. 1. Opening of Meeting a. Mayor Pro Tem, Karen Breyfogle called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m., leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. b. Roll Call Council members present: Mary Seago, John Glennie, Lacie Rife, Karen Breyfogle, and Jim Rains. Absent: Mayor Richard Proskocil. Staff present: Alyx Hirst. Public present: None. c. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve the agenda by M. Seago, with a second by J. Glennie. Motion carried 5-0. 2. Public Comments None 3. New Business a. Public Hearing on Proposed Property Taxation for FY2026-2027 Motion to open the public hearing at 6:32 p.m. made by J. Glennie with a second from L. Rife. Motion carried 5-0. Clerk Hirst stated no comments were received, and no comments from the public were heard. Clerk Hirst reviewed the tax levy document for Mondamin. Mary Seago stated that she would like us to consider levying for capital improvements in the future. Motion to close the public hearing by J. Rains at 6:36 p.m. with a second by L. Rife. Motion carried 5-0. 4. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, L. Rife made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by J. Glennie. Motion carried 5-0.
