City of Dunlap September 16, 2025 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 5:00pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Bonsall, Schauer, Wingrove, Gunia, Murphy. Motion by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Wingrove second by Gunia to approve 1st reading of the Planning & Zoning Ordinances. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Murphy to set Seth Bielenberg wage at $31.25 an hour and to give $50 per day for on-call pay for the department. All in favor, motion carried. The Dunlap Police Department is going to go back to the 2 person department. Motion by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve the replacement of the 10th, 11th and 12th Street intersections on Iowa Avenue. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Bonsall second by Gunia to get the 2019 Ford Explorer repaired. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Wingrove to have Hanigan Lawn repair Jack Kline’s yard. All in favor, motion carried. An ash tree in the alley at the 700 block north of Clinton Street was discussed but no action was taken due to tree being in the alley. Motion by Wingrove second by Murphy to adjourn at 6:26pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
