City of Dunlap March 11, 2026 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Bonsall, Schauer, Wingrove, Gunia, Murphy. Motion by Gunia second by Murphy to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Wingrove second by Bonsall to approve February 11th Public Hearing and February 18th Regular minutes. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Murphy second by Gunia to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Wingrove second by Murphy to approve consent agenda items; Alcohol Permit-Golf Course, Knight of Columbus. All in favor, motion carried. Councilman Murphy gave the fire report. Jill Schaben, DCDC, gave Ryan Murphy the “That’s How It’s Dun”. Paula Evans gave a library update. Tony Warnock gave the Water/Wastewater report. The Lagoon project should be at 60% by the next meeting. Chief Miller gave an update on the Police Department. Ride-a-longs was discussed. Council man Wingrove wanted the Public Works to look at Clinton Street for a washout. Motion by Murphy second by Bonsall to set a Public Hearing for the Max Levy Hearing on March 25th at 6:30pm. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Murphy second by Bonsall to set a Public Hearing for Planning & Zoning on April 8th at 6:45pm. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve adding Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day as days off and adding a week’s vacation for the 1st year of employment. All in favor, motion carried.
