BOYER VALLEY COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS - SPECIAL MEETING – MARCH 16, 2026 7:30 A.M. – BOYER VALLEY SOUTH, BOARDROOM CALL TO ORDER: President Benjamin Hansen called the special meeting of the Boyer Valley Board of Education to order at 7:30 a.m. Members answering roll call were Paul Cogdill, JoEtt Cogdill, Ben Hansen, Craig Malone (via zoom), Kim McAllister (via zoom) and Steve Puck. Director Heistand was absent. Administrators present: Supt. Jeremy Christiansen and Secretary Terra Sell (via zoom). Visitors present: List on file in the Business Office. APPROVAL AGENDA: Motion by J. Cogdill, second by P. Cogdill to approve the agenda. Motion carried 6-0. Secretary Sell read the mission statement. OPEN FORUM: None. NEW BUSINESS: A. Master Contract Wages for FY27, FY28, FY29 and FY30: Motion by P. Cogdill, second by Malone to approve a four-year contract, with first year financials to include increasing the base pay $1,000 per teacher, those with BA+15 receive an additional $250 and those with MA contracts receive an additional $500, which averages a 2.8% increase. Motion carried 6-0. B. Mobile Robot Painting System: Quotes were received from two companies, TinyMobileRobots and Turf Tank. Depending on the model, TinyMobileRobots quotes were $42,590, $32,640 or $34,075 which includes buying the machine outright. Turf Tank pricing is yearly subscriptions/leasing at either $12,700 per year or $17,700 per year for three years, depending on model. The district has received a $40,000 grant from the King Foundation for this purchase. After review, motion by P. Cogdill, second by Puck to purchase the TMR Pro X All Inclusive painting system with TinyMobileRobots for $42,590. Motion carried 6-0. A motion by Puck, second by J. Cogdill to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 6-0.
