WEST HARRISON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL BOARD MEETING – 3:00 PM May 21, 2025 BUSINESS OFFICE – MONDAMIN, IA The West Harrison Community School District Board of Education met in regular session with the following present: Randy Wohlers, Julie Kuhlman, Lorraine Thomas, and Kim Nunez. Directors. Marty Fonley, Superintendent, and Tonya Radil, Board Secretary/Treasurer. Called to Order. The meeting was called to order in the Business Office at 3:00 p.m. by President Wohlers. Roll Call. President Wohlers present, Vice President Kuhlman present, Director Nunez present, and Director Thomas via telephone Consent Agenda. A motion was made by Director Nunez and seconded by Director Kuhlman to consent agenda. No Discussion. Roll Call: Directors Wohlers aye, Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye and Thomas aye. 4-0 motion carried. Consideration of Principal 2 year Contract. A motion was made by Director Kuhlman and second by Director Nunez to approve the principal’s 2 year contract. No Discussion. Roll Call: Directors Wohlers aye, Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye and Thomas aye. 4-0 motion carried. Consideration of New Chiller. A motion was made by Director Kuhlman and second by Director Nunez to approve the purchase of a new chiller from Facility Advocates. No Discussion. Roll Call: Directors Wohlers aye, Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye and Thomas aye. 4-0 motion carried. The next regular board meeting will be on June 11, 2025 at 6:30 PM. Adjournment.
