Candidates are set for area school, city council races in November

Candidates have filed their paperwork for the upcoming city and school board elections, according to the Harrison County Auditor’s office. Voting for the school / city elections will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, across the area.

 

Absentee Ballots

 

Individuals need to submit an absentee ballot request form that they can get from the Secretary of State website, or they can request one from the Harrison County Auditor’s office. Below are the dates for requesting mailed ballots and for voting in the office. 

 

First day to accept absentee requests: Aug. 26, 2025

Last day to accept absentee requests for mailed ballots: Oct. 20, 2025

 

In office absentee voting begins: Oct. 15, 2025

In office absentee voting ends: Nov. 3, 2025
