PUBLIC NOTICE OF STORM WATER DISCHARGE The Iowa Department of Transportation plans to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit No. 2 "Storm Water Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity for Construction Activities." The storm water discharge will be from construction activity located in Harrison County on Interstate 29. The project is bridge replacements at Burcham Creek, 2.7 mi. S. of IA 127. The Public Lands Survey location is Township 79N, Range 45W, Section 12. Storm water will be discharged to the following receiving streams: road ditches to Burcham Creek/Ditch to Old Soldier River.
