ORDINANCE RESOLUTION NUMBER 2025-09 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE II, CHAPTER 4 OF THE 2023 CITY OF MODALE CODE OF ORDINANCES BE IT ENACTED the City Council of the City of Modale, Iowa: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Modale desires to increase the salaries of the mayor and council members NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Modale, Iowa: 2-4-1 COUNCIL MEMBER. The salaries of each City Council member shall be $30 for each meeting o the City Council to be paid annually. 2-4-2 MAYOR. The Mayor shall receive an annual salary of $625.00 to be paid annually. SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not effect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall be in full force and effective upon its passage and publication, as required by law.
