Moorhead Cultural Center announces weekly winners
“Peeking Out” by Sue Cutler of Blencoe is done in water color, which is very seasonal. A very delicate and soothing image of a ground squirrel peeking from the colored fall leaves. The leaves are falling out of the image and onto the matting, which is a very pleasing effect.
A piece of entirely different materials and composition is done by Delores Dorland of Missouri Valley. She has utilized colored pencil, quilting and other techniques to create “Black Eyed Susan” on material.
This exhibit, “Celebrate the Hills” closes the Cultural Center’s season. The last date to see the varied subjects is Nov. 2nd, so time is running out. The Center in Moorhead is open every Fri., Sat., and Sunday, from 1-4 pm.
