Moorhead Cultural Center opens May 1
The Moorhead Cultural Center is excited to welcome the new young artists displays for the 2026 season, opening on May 1.
The classes, kindergarten through High School, will be participating from these area schools: Boyer Valley, Charter-Oak Ute, West Harrison, West Monona and Woodbine schools. Perhaps a child, grandchild or great grandchild’s art will be displayed for the following six weeks!
This celebration of our young artists in our area, will bring together local students who are skillful in artistic abilities and workmanship in our Art Show. There are no separate categories, just mixed media which includes oil, watercolor, acrylic, pen & ink or other media such as clay, wood, sculptures, fiber or metal. They will be judged and awards presented.
A “Peoples Choice” award will also be voted on by the exhibit viewers. These works will be displayed for viewing in the “Upcoming Artists” show at the Moorhead Cultural Center from May 1 – June 14, 2026. Open on Fri., Sat. and Sundays 1-4 pm.
The Cultural Center display room has been painted and updated with a new look! While viewing these art pieces, you can sign up for our “Ultimate May Basket” for free during the weekend and enjoy a refreshment and goodies. The basket is filled with all sorts of many different and wonderful surprises for you.
The drawing will be on Sunday, May 3rd at 4:00 pm. If any questions, please call Diann at 712-880-1185 or Sharon 712-420-2530.
