Dollie’s Destiny Books seen at Moorhead Cultural Center

Mary Morgan lives in Odebolt, and has been binding her own books since 2014. It started when she was working on her thesis for her master’s degree.

She wanted to create the book all by herself to give away at her graduation party to friends and family. She taught herself the art of bookbinding. A friend asked if she could put her granddaughter’s story into a book. The book was made with illustrations, and the girl had her own book signing. She does children’s stories and other interesting and wonderful hardbound books. She now teaches bookbinding classes.

Many of Mary’s books and the Lucid Dreaming Inspired items are on display at the Moorhead Cultural Center, 120 Oak Street, Moorhead, open Friday through Sunday, from 1 – 4 p.m. through September 20th

There are five other crafters also at the Center with wonderful homemade items, such as woodcrafts, framed art, traveling treats, homemade cards and gifts and lots more.

If questions, please call Diann at 712 880-1185 or Sharon at 712 429-2530.

“LUCID DREAMING INSPIRED”

Mike and Holly started their business on a whim. Mike got laid off for a couple weeks and then wanted to create things to sublimate his income. They never thought it would have gotten as big as it has in such a short time.

They specialize in customizable products, and do anything from t-shirts to glass cutting boards, metal signs, wind spinners, hand towels, hot pads, cups, tumblers and more. Their items are on display at the Moorhead Cultural Center
