Moorhead Cultural Center News
The last exhibit for the Moorhead Cultural Center ended on November 2, and it will reopen starting in May of 2026. We had a great season this year with some 500 people who visited from 91 towns and 21 states according to the guest register. There were many great compliments, plus many people enjoyed visiting with one another about the articles in the exhibits. The Center is happy to have exhibits that show off talents and interests of people from Harrison, Monona and other nearby areas.
One of the neatest display items at the Cultural Center demonstrated loyalty and patriotic feelings of the Moorhead Fire and Rescue Unit volunteers, to our community and to our Country.
The Cultural Center is run totally on donations, and every dollar is so much appreciated. Also, the Center could not be successful without all the volunteers and the time they donated. That includes the “Mirror”, as it is published by the Cultural Center. The Center is happy to publish any local news or ads that are submitted. It goes out to 265 Moorhead zip code addresses each month. You may get in touch with the Cultural Center for the costs that are involved in these publications. The colored copies are considerably more than the black and white copies.
Donations for both the Cultural Center and the Mirror are accepted at the Cultural Center, P O Box 101, Moorhead, IA 51558.
