Letter to the Editor
Leave the Trees Alone
Dear Editor,
One of our country supervisors is again harassing Harrison County Conservation. Read the minutes of Feb. 17, 2026.
Why is a mystery.
Our county is so beautiful because of the unique Loess Hills.
The Conservation Board and its staff seeks to celebrate, educate and preserve them for our enjoyment.
Please leave them alone! Let them do this most important work.
Mother Nature is under attack. Support her helpers, don’t hinder them.
Long time tree hugger,
Mary Moore, Mondamin
