Falcons top Panthers

Logan-Magnolia fell short in a 28-0 loss to Council Bluffs St. Albert in the Class A, District 8 opener on Sept. 11 in Logan.

“Our defense played hard and kept us in it,” stated Head Coach Jack West. “We stopped their run game for the most part, and the goal line stand was great to see. But we need to work on finishing tackles in space.”

Ashton Peszulik (85 yards passing / 18 yards rushing), Crosby Yoder (58 yards rushing) and Max Wingert (58 yards rushing) led the Panthers’ offense.

“We know this was not our best performance, and we have to continue to improve on fundamentals in every aspect,” West concluded. “We will continue to build, improve and be ready for the next challenge.”

Up Next (Sept. 18 / Sept. 25): Logan-Magnolia (0-1, 2-1) will be at Westwood (Sloan) on Sept. 18, and host West Monona for Homecoming on Sept. 25.
