CHI Health Missouri Valley earns 2025 Performance Leadership Award on National Rural Health Day
CHI Health Missouri Valley announced it has received a 2025 Performance Leadership
Award for excellence in Quality and Outcomes. The recognition, compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, highlights top-quartile performance (75th percentile or higher) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes, and/or Patient Perspective.
“This award is a tremendous testament to our incredible team’s dedication to our patients,” said David Jones, president of CHI Health Missouri Valley. “We truly focus on our patients every day, and that commitment does not go unnoticed. Your health and well-being are always our top priority, and we are proud to offer award-winning care close to home.”
The Performance Leadership Awards program utilizes the Chartis Rural Hospital
Performance INDEX, a comprehensive framework for assessing rural hospital performance.
The INDEX benchmarks are widely used by rural hospitals, health systems, and state offices of rural health to measure performance across various operational and financial areas.
“The areas of quality, outcomes, and patient perspective are cornerstones of health care delivery across rural America, and this year’s Performance Leadership Award recipients are establishing a standard of excellence for their rural peers to follow,” said Michael Topchik, executive director of the Chartis Center for Rural Health. “We are delighted to shine a spotlight on such strong performance and honor the achievement of these hospitals as National Rural Health Day draws near.”
