CHI Health Missouri Valley welcomes Experienced Therapist Brandon Jerred
CHI Health Missouri Valley is pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Jerred, LMFT, a highly skilled and credentialed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, to its comprehensive behavioral health team. With over 15 years of dedicated experience, Jerred will enhance the clinic’s ability to provide mental health and substance use treatment for individuals, couples, and families across the region.
Jerred brings a wealth of expertise in helping patients navigate and overcome various life challenges. He has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds, including those managing mental health conditions and substance use symptoms. A core focus of Jerred’s practice is assisting clients in developing healthy and sustainable coping mechanisms to improve their overall well-being.

His therapeutic approach is client-centered and systemic, meaning he examines presenting symptoms not only from a biological perspective, but also by considering the profound impact of clients’ experiences and family of origin. This method empowers
patients by identifying and building upon their existing strengths and resources.
“I am eager to join the compassionate team, and expand access to vital behavioral health services,” Jerred said. “My philosophy emphasizes the importance of treating mental health and substance use concurrently, often with the same therapist, for the most effective and lasting outcomes. I also believe in close collaboration with primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for every patient.”
In addition to individual therapy, Jerred specializes in strengthening relationships through
couples and family therapy. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Iowa, he has significant experience guiding families and couples in identifying areas for improvement and fostering stronger, healthier connections.
