Channeling Good !!!!

“Channeling Good” is a program set up by Channel Seed to allow Channel Seed Pros, like Heidi Bromert, Channel Seeds, to make donations where we feel they would be most influential.

Bromert chose to donate to DC-A’s Fire Department to assist the Crawford County Fire Association in building a Grain Bin Safety Simulator and to purchase Grain Bin Rescue Equipment.

This project is very near and dear to my heart! Our community suffered a tragic loss a few years ago, and anything we can do to help our local fire fighters, EMTs, etc. to better prepare for future emergencies is a huge win. I chose this organization, because it would make the biggest impact to our community and other communities surrounding us.

“We all hope that we never need to make the call that we have a grain bin emergency, but having trained forces ready, with the right equipment, could save lives. It was a pretty easy decision which organization I wanted to enter for a chance to win this grant, “Bromert stated. “We want to do everything we can to make sure our farmers come home safe at night. Hopefully this grant can be a small step towards making that happen.”

Channel Seeds presented a $5,000 check to the Dow City-Arion Volunteer Fire Dept on Sept. 17 at training.
