Panthers fall in Substate Semifinals
Logan-Magnolia displayed the grit and toughness they had all season, but it wasn’t enough in a 3-1 loss to Western Christian in the Class 1A Substate Semifinals on May 27 at Hull.
“They (Hull) were the better team tonight, but our guys battled to the final whistle, and that’s all you can ask,” stated Head Coach Jon Connealy, as the Panthers closed their record breaking season at 8-7-1. “We took some huge strides this season, and this is just the beginning of things to come for this program. We got a taste tonight, we’ll be back.”
Seniors Aydin Myer and Jason Kastner combined for 14 career wins the past four years, including a single-season win mark of 8 as seniors.
