Back to School Open House set for Aug. 19-20
It’s back to school time for the state of Iowa, as community school districts gear up for the 2026-27 school year that begins across the state on Monday, Aug. 24.
Area schools will be holding Back to School Open Houses on August 19-20. Listed below are the schools and websites where the pertinent information will be listed.
2026 Back to School Open House
LOGAN-MAGNOLIA / Aug. 19: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
MISSOURI VALLEY / Aug. 20: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
WEST HARRISON / Aug. 20: 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
WOODBINE / Aug. 20: 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Families A-M, 4 – 5 p.m.: Families N – Z, 5 – 6 p.m.
BOYER VALLEY / Aug. 20: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Both Dunlap & Dow City buildings
